    Background

    For as long as he could remember, all Keith Karlson wanted to be was a Football player, he watched every Saturday as the Big city Wolverines took on the rest of the country.

    There was only one problem, he was small, asthmatic and could not catch a ball if his life depended on it. He was however smart, quiet and likeable in his own way, so although people tried to bully him at each new school, he quickly made friends who would protect him.

    One such friend was Jock Dodgson his friend through high school, he was the star player for the school and Keith attended every game, he could quote every stat about his friend's match history.

    Jock cared for his friend so he broke into the coach's office and took the whole teams supply of "Hexon Performance Vitamins", these had made the whole team stronger over the course of high school, maybe they could help his friend.

    Keith took the lot that night in a single dose, a supply that would have been given to the team one each per match for the rest of the season. As he planned the next session of his Fire Lizards & Caves RPG campaign, the final encounter with a huge dragon he fell into a fitful sleep...

    Jock has never seen his friend again, the fire that destroyed Keith's house that night and killed Keith's parents is assumed to have Keith as well, but his body has never been found.
